Garrity’s Sports Bar and Grille are one of many sports bars in the neighborhood hosting early evening Happy Hours. Located in the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center Hotel, it also offers dining until late night. The menu features pizzas, as well as burgers and salads, the “bun and leaf” choices, and soups and main course entrees, the “fork and spoon” choices. Sports events can be watched on any of several flat-screen televisions located throughout the establishment or a 48 square foot High Definition television. Shuffleboard and pool are available for those interested in participatory sports.
Pool players can also find their favorite game at JD’s Bait Shop, a sports bar that remains open late and serves a bar menu with a Mexican flair. For guests on an earlier schedule, JD’s has a Happy Hour.

Named after the Great Northern Railway, the food is designed to reflect the cuisines of the diverse communities the railroad traversed and the immigrants who built it. The Tavern has a wide beer, wine, and liquor selection. It is open for lunch and dinner.
The regional chain, Il Fornaio, which started as a baking school in Italy, serves authentic Italian food in its location in the area. For two weeks each month, it features the specialties of different regions of Italy. It is open for lunch and dinner.
McCormick and Schmick’s is a national chain restaurant open for dinner with a wide variety of classic seafood from a menu that changes daily to reflect fresh selections. Steaks and grilled chicken are also available at this casual restaurant.
Comedy Works South at the Landmark Theater is a comedy club offering nationally-known comedy acts. At the same location, diners can eat at the Lucy Restaurant, featuring an extensive selection of wines and beers and serving bistro type food. The Lila B. Lounge at the same place is open before the comedy shows for a Happy Hour and after for drinks and a small plate menu.
